Unit 1 You must wait and open it later.
本单元以Traditional life为话题,设计内容。旨在通过单元使学生学会谈论不同国家和地区的风俗习惯;了解英国的风俗;学会表达“应该与不应该做的事情”;能就中国的风俗习惯进行写作;能给外宾提供一些建议,使他们了解中国的风俗习惯。
Unit 1 听录音,对照图片学习一些物品的名称,听录音并读对话,从送礼物引出不同国家的不同的风俗习惯,初步了解must, mustn’t, can, can’t的用法。Listening and vocabulary中活动1、2通过图片标号、配对的形式学习单元词汇。3是关于不同国家风俗习惯的对话。4、5根据对话内容完成判断、填空等任务。Pronunciation and speaking中6学习含有must句型的赌法。7、8根据所给情景列举自己必须做或不允许做的事并讲给小组内伙伴听。
教学目标
一、知识与能力目标:
1、能听懂介绍中国风俗的听力材料。
2、能谈论某地的风俗习惯或规章制度。
3、能正确朗读含有must的特殊疑问句及其答语。
4、能就自己的家规、校规作表述。

Ss: sing the song together.

T:1. read through the words and expressions in Activity 1with the whole class,
2.play the tape
3.ask Ss What present they like to have got on their birthday.
4.play the tape again.
Ss:1. repeat them chorally and individually,
2.look at the pictures in Activity 2, listen to the tape and number the words and expressions , then check the answers with their partners. And then match the words with the pictures.

教学反思:本节课规则和习俗这样话题,展开听说读写一系列语言实践活动,其语言功能是用must,mustn't,can和 can't表述某地或某场所的风俗习惯与规章制度。本节课是一听说课,同时兼顾读写,以培养学生的听说能力为主,能为来中国家庭做客的外国朋友提出建议,学生通过学习,也能够就自己的家规、校规等话题做表述。本节课本着低起点、多层次的原则设计了九个环节,培养了学生自学与合作学习的能力,发挥了多媒体课件的辅助作用,取得了较好的教学效果。

Some British and American people like to invite friends for a meal at home. You should not be upset(不安的)if your English friends don’t invite you home. It doesn’t mean they don’t like you.
Dinner parties usually start between 7 and 8 p.m. and end at about 11. Ask your hosts what time you should arrive. It’s polite to bring flowers, chocolates or a bottle of wine as a gift.
