学生分小组朗读英语小短文,每组派一代表,小组之间竞争,根据语音语调的标注程度给相应小组加分。
Step 1 Warmer
1. Greetings
Look and describe some pictures. (a schoolbag, a flower, a TV, a dress, a toy car )
Count the numbers from 1 to 100. Step 2 Step2 Presentation
To show a book. T: Look, boys and girls. What’s this? Yes, it’s a book. It costs 19 yuan.
Ask and answer. T: What does it cost?( Point to some stationaries of Ss.) To encourage them to answer with “It costs…”
Watch the CD-ROM.
Look, listen and repeat.Show some questions and try to answer them according to the text. Q: What does Daming have? What does Daming want to buy? Does 1,800 yuan expensive? Does 1 yuan cheap? How many pes does Daming buy?
Listen again, then answer the questions and lead out new words and sentences.
Write the new words and key sentences on the board.
To teach “thousand” and try to count from 1,000 to 10,000.
Look and say the price. a computer (¥8,350) a TV (¥9,800) a bed (¥2,000) a bike (¥1,080)
Practice reading and writing them. To emphasize the using of “and”.
Learn to say a poem.

A guessing game: To show some pictures. Let Ss guess what it costs.
Pair-work: To describe their favourite things. This doll is cute. It wears a pink dress. I like pink very much. It is cheap. It costs 20 yuan. So I bought it.
