一、教材解读:
(一)教材分析:
本单元的主要教学内容是“根据特征认人”。“认人”是在第一单元所学句型Who’s that …? He’s /She’s …基础上进行的拓展练习。本单元的教学重点是让学生根据人的外貌特征及穿着打扮认识人,从而学习并掌握Who’s the … with …? Is that … your …? The one in the …等句型,及相关的家庭成员、身体部位、颜色、服装等单词。应该说,有了第一单元的教学铺垫,引出本单元的句型是不难的,难就难在后置定语的添加。在中中是没有后置定语的,要修饰一个名词,修饰词要放在前面;但在英语中,修饰词既有放在前面的,也有放在后面的,这一点让小学生判断放前放后是极其困难的。因此,在教学中,我们可以先采用死记硬背的方法让学生机械记忆后置定语的表达,如:the boy with big eyes, the girl with long hair, the an in a blue shirt, the woan in the green sweater。重点是让学生根据人的外貌特征及穿着打扮认人。难点是区分with和in 的用法。我们可以通过对比让学生明白,人的外貌特征应该用with而穿着打扮则用in。同时,本单元容量较大,但像 father, other, grandfather, grandother, sister等家庭成员类单词已在三年级学过,现已变成四会要求,脸部器官的hair 和eye已学过了,所以我们可以用以旧带新的方法教本单元的新单词,还可以结合以前所学的内容,系统整理这些单词。

要求学生仔细看图,观察六位成员的服装特点,并试着用The one in the …is John’s …的句式介绍John一家,复习巩固家庭成员的单词。
教师指着自己身体,说:This is y outh. I have a sall outh.
These are y eyes. I have two big eyes. 学习人体部位的单词,同时学会如何去描述自己的外貌特征。

思:今天所授的6个家庭成员和6种人体部位的单词,在以前的课本里出现过,所以大部份学生在听说方面都比较熟悉。在引出重点句型“。Who’s the…with…? He’s/She’s…”之前,通过“listen and act”的活动,学生边说边指自己的身体各部位,接着我借助夸张的动作,扯大耳朵,睁大双眼等,复习“big sall,long short”这几个单词,并学会描述人物的五官特征,如:big outh ,sall ear.”学生们在游乐中记住了这些单词。也使学生更加容易地学习和操练新句型。
